I began my career in accounting as a Chartered Professional Accountant. In the decade I spent in the accounting world, I had the opportunity to take on various roles across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) from Barrie to Alliston to Markham and back to the Toronto City core. Through my day-to-day travels, I was fascinated by the vibrant growth and development of these areas, the distinct personalities of each community, and the dynamic real estate market that was flourishing. Fast forward a few years, married, with my first daughter on the way, my wife and I found ourselves looking to purchase our own family home. Like many home buyers at that time, the process felt daunting. With a booming real estate market and skyrocketing offers we were left wondering if we were going to be able to find and afford our family home.
